Winter (November -March) opening times : Monday to Saturday 10am-2pm (Friday until 3pm)
Parking in Appleby:

Disc parking:
To park on the street in the town centre you need to:
- Obtain a clock disc from the TIC or any shop
- Set it to show the time of your arrival
- Place it on the dashboard where it can easily be seen
You then have either two or three hours free parking depending on where parked – please check the signs.
Pay and display parking:
There is a pay and display Car Park at Broad Close, the fee is £1.40 for two hours or £3.30 all day (at the time of writing); check rates here
Please note Broad Close car park is currently closed to to Environment Agency flood defence works. A free and temporary alternative car park is situated on Holme Street, and is well signposted.

Tennis Court and squash court Hire
Tennis courts at Appleby Grammar School can be hired for private use, keys can be collected from the Tourist Information. Keys for the squash courts near the football pitch are also available to hire from the Tourist Information centre.
